How do I go about cleaning my lot?

Suggested Steps to a Clean Property:

1)  Remove "dead and down" first.

2)  "Ladder up" dead branches to 8' above ground level.  Leave 1" stubs from trunk (DO NOT cut green branches until late fall).

3)  Rake your lot, removing needles, leaves and small branches.  Clean area near buildings first.

4)  Pick your best trees, then thin out around them, removing small trees, bushes, etc.  Use pruning seal on stumps.
    (Suggested density is no more than 150 trees per acre).

Don't forget vacant lots need to be cleaned also.
